7-Day Ayurvedic Cleanse

Out with the old.
Start building the new … together!

Ayurveda and Yoga, two powerful sister sciences, come together to provide you with a new approach on how to “clear the slate” and start the New Year with a stronger foundation.

The kitchen is our laboratory where medicine is prepared. This virtual event will allow each of us to meet in our own kitchen and work together for a hands-on demonstration on how to make ghee and kitchari, the staples of your 7-day cleanse.

Shanti, owner of Keller Yoga, will then demonstrate a few yoga postures and a breathing exercise that will help to boost your cleanse to an even higher level.

Timeline

Saturday, January 16th, 1:00-4:00pm
• We will kick off this event with a virtual workshop (Zoom). This workshop will provide you with all the tools you’ll need for a successful cleanse. Let’s meet in our kitchens where Dr. Jade will walk us through, step-by-step, on how to make ghee and kitchari.

Sunday, January 17th through 23rd
• Cleanse week! Make sure to join our private Facebook group where we can all share our stories, questions, ask questions, and get support. You’ll find inspiration and motivation to help you on your journey.

Saturday, January 23rd, 1:00-2:30pm
• Follow-up with Dr. Jade & Shanti. We’ll share stories and provide time for Q&A.

What to Expect

This is a self-managed program for anyone interested in a natural, holistic, and palliative approach toward cleansing of the digestive system. Dr. Jade and Shanti will provide you will all the information you need to get you started on your journey.

This is also a community event. Upon registration, you will be invited to join the “7-Day Ayurvedic Cleanse (2021)” Facebook group. Here, you will be able to interact with other participants, provide support, get support, and share your experience.

This cleanse is based on a mono-diet of kitchari. Kitchari is commonly made by cooking and combining mung beans and rice. Note: This cleanse is not recommended for pregnant or nursing mothers. It is also not recommended if you are recovering from a sickness.

Cost

There is a $54.00 fee to join the Workshop and Follow-up + Q&A. Because this is a virtual program with participants in various locations, it will be your responsibility to procure and use the materials in the following Materials List. If local, you may find a lot of these items at the Keller Yoga Studio. Other sources will also be recommended.
